I saved you a place,

wrapped in my embrace,

Somewhere you've always felt safe.

I was there for you,

You were there for me too,

I loved you,

you loved me too,

although it was a different kind of love,

you were a friend of mine,

I wrote this to remind myself,

a friendship as pure as ours was,

is so hard to find,

so I wrote you this song to show you,

I didn't leave you behind,

I still think of you for time to time,

knowing life isn't easy,

nothing ever is,

life on earth is Gods quiz,

To see what we know,

feelings for someone isn't a show,

It's part of showing them you care.

hell, I've been there myself,

surrounded by everyone else,

waiting for the lights to dim,

and the show to start,

only to awaken during the part,

where it's only you and me,

and the rest of the stage is empty,

and we're all a lone,

writing thing's about each other

Only God would've known.

If there were a dozen roses,

cause your the only one,

as I softly kiss your nose,

the deep blue sea,

I just wish I meant to you,

what you meant to me,
