There's a hero that lays inside him
He uses as a guide trying to confide
The strength of trust in this unjust world
He's surrounded by.

All his life he implies
There's good will out there in somebody else
Other than myself. He thinks,
I need no one else to make me happy
In remembrance of what his grandpappy
Once taught him, If your going to be a man
You've got to be tough, every now and again
life gets rough around the edges so he made a pledge
To himself to give to churches for people in need
For he had enough and was taught not to have things
He really didn't need out of greed cause to many people
Only think of themselves.

Now life's been easy and life's been hard
But if your going to make it you've got to stand guard
For what you believe cause sooner or later you'll be happy
with what you can achieve and the best feeling is to be relieved
From the stress and hatred that goes on throughout the rest of the world.
