I feel like my insecurities.
Have a way of completely swallowing me.
Making me numb to your touches.
Unable to see those looks you give.
Cant even hear you speak those sweet nothings.
They just cant get thru to me....
Would you keep trying?
Whisper a little louder?
Until your yelling in my ear?
So that I might hear you say you love me.
Might hear those songs you sing.
Would you scream me a love song?
Scream until you cant breathe.
Until it breaks thru, and I realize the truth
But its too late, isn't it?
By the time I open myself up...
...your already gone.
