Everything hurts right now,

Loving you and watching you take strain.

Knowing it's my fault,

My efforts to fix it not effective enough.

Little face crumbles when reality sets in.

No parties, no friends to celebrate.

Little heart I never meant to hurt you,

Your pain makes me crumble inside.

Smallest heart not aware.

I am destroying all of you

Without even intending to.

Can I not succeed at anything except destruction?

Hurting those I love.

Which way is the right way?

I am lost!

The more I try,

The further it slips out of my hands.

No one knows what boils inside,

Maybe I hide too well.

Just sometimes I wish I had arms to protect me and shelter me

Make it all be right. But no one can do that!

I am heart broken, exhausted and washed out.

I hate this more than words can ever say!

That something so simple can be so huge,

I am blind and naive
