Rush, rush,rush,
No matter how fast you go or how much you do it is NEVER enough!!
Time ticks by at the speed of light,
Where did my living go?
I work and work and work some more.
What happened to us?
We used to play,
To have time for everything!
Now we must cram all our time into a "holiday"
Then you need time to get over that!
Where did our time go and what does it mean?
My heart breaks for my kids when there is no time anymore.
Tick, tick , tick.
The pressure , these chains!
I want to scream but I can't,
It's not allowed!!
I want to break the shackles of facade and humanity and duty
That keep us locked away from living.
The world is too fast and I come of another age,
I want to go home to where I fit in
Where we can live and love and work all in balance.
Spiritual world here I come once again
In deepest need of your love and healing.
Balance and harmony
Quiet for the soul and mind.
Save us from who and what we have become
because we are doing a rotten job of it ourselves!!!

Yeah I can totally relate to the feeling that the things you have to do get in the way of the things you want to do and the things that are more important. I hope you get some time to catch your breath. |
