Your past is not who you are
You can’t change yesterday
Tomorrow is not promised
And you’re not promised to see the rest of today
Learn from you past
Its time to be free at last
Take the step
Take the chance
It is time for you to be free
Say the word
And he’ll be there
He’s always watching
He always cares
When you’re down
And unhappy
He brings you peace
It is time to love life
It is time for you to stop looking back
And go on….
Your past is not who you are
He doesn’t care about yesterday
He wants to take care of you
To love you
Before today
Is yesterday
When you feel like no one cares
I’ll be here
But of this you must be aware
He said he’ll never leave you
He’s always there
Even when you lose your way
So take that step
Take that change

This is exactly how i feel. I always dream of being free over the clouds. Flying. Good poem and it can make people smile and think of the past. Forgiving themselves. I am finally forgiving myself. =] |
