Screaming for Help |
Downfall
Scoping for some answers Smoking up that cancer In a dream No one can see Into my eyes They see the fire Hoping for that daytime break Holding up for someone’s sake Living a lie Becoming a spy No where to turn My lungs just burn Everyday passes casually Every man says no one can see The pain that scars Us living at large The light turns red The point up ahead The road gets dimmer with traveling farther The pain gets deeper with an innocent daughter Her life at stake The beating we take For her to be free Letting everyone see The unknown things to the human eye The things we do to touch the sky Risking it all Trying to not fall All the hectic days In my mind it plays Over and over until I am drained Thinking in time it’ll be my fame
