To wait

Another day,
another warning.
I feel the moment,
slowly grows close.

What can I do,
but wait?
I have no power,
and so must wait for the sour.

Perhaps,
the warnings,
shall lapse,
and there will be many more dawnings.

But it will be strange,
to see life so change,
if the warnings,
should turn out to be true.

What can I do,
but wait?
