Shallow,
crying out to your fellow.
Below,
feeling mellow.
Sorrowful,
dreading the morrow.
Clinging onto today,
yet hating every morsel.
Seeking laughter,
but finding only tears.
Craving after,
all those years.
An ache,
in your heart.
It was a mistake,
can I make a new start?
Searching for something,
can't find my way.
Now I am angling,
off my path.
I go over the edge,
into sorrow.
Drowning, drowning,
drowning in sorrow.
