I'm tired of poems that rhyme
people putting random words in every line
others who hate the modern and whine and whine
Those who don't like to think of the deeper thought
that lies in the poem waiting to be sought
people not wanting to learn or be taught
a poem is a gift
easy to lift
the wrapping being able to easily shift
open it slowly
understanding the gift wholly
take your time
hope you enjoyed my little rhyme
