I stand shocked, battered and rocked,
I can't believe what just happened,
My life has left me, my only light,
Has walked away, I can no longer fight.
What point is there in living,
If you haven't a life?
You were the only light, among the twisted shadows
Now I can but sit here, and be torn by it's throes
Shattered and broken, I don't know how,
I can go on, without you now.
Without your light, I'm as good as dead
The darkness creeping deep into my head
Tearing my consience, and drowning my soul
In a darkness everlasting, a deep dark hole
What can I say? what can I do?
Sit here and pray, to be brought back to you?
What good would it do? If I can't see the light
I give up... the shadows have won this fight.
I can't believe what just happened,
