Pit Of Gold |
Glass in my Ear
Ai!
The crow out my door
you wake me...
I'm tired of your sorrow
You shake shake shake me
Inside and out
you talk, and rant
upon the morning sun
making me pale
you shriek shriek shriek
like a bee-stung baby
taking my light away
being so black
you chase my mind
caw caw cawing
Shut up! Be still!
impossible for you
you brake the waking day
creating noise like
shattered glass in my ear
cutting, bleeding
your torn voice
creeping through
the window cracks
into my now
awakened heart
The crow out my door
you wake me...
I'm tired of your sorrow
You shake shake shake me
Inside and out
you talk, and rant
upon the morning sun
making me pale
you shriek shriek shriek
like a bee-stung baby
taking my light away
being so black
you chase my mind
caw caw cawing
Shut up! Be still!
impossible for you
you brake the waking day
creating noise like
shattered glass in my ear
cutting, bleeding
your torn voice
creeping through
the window cracks
into my now
awakened heart
