Walking down the street

I'm playing on the off beat

I'm on the fringe about to fall in to oblivion

It's kinda strange going places that i've never been

I'm not normal but i'm not completely out of it either

People look to me but i'm not a born leader

I stand up for myself and friends

but i'm always on the outside looking in

I haven't found my happiness in this life living on the fringe

But i'll make it out in the end

And although i try to act cool

I know i'll always be a fringe girl
