I thought I was losing
This hundred year war
Didn't know it was over
Ended up losing, and now you're gone
Kept striving to be the best
Not realizing I was also
Ignoring your cry for help
Leaving you behind
And taking it for granted
The success got to my head
And I lost it all in the end
I cope with the loss
By buring it deep down
It takes a toll on me
