I’m confused now more than ever
I’m trying to work things out
Cause doing without thinking
and stumbling about
Is not what I need to do
I need to make a stand
I make mistakes like everyone else
but no one seems to understand
That I can never seem to find the words
or even find the time
To express what it is
that I think I feel inside
Trapped in a state of mind that makes me
Do things that I now regret
What is going on in my mind
I can't fully comprehend yet
But I like more than one person
And it’s hard for me to choose
I know what I'll be gaining
and I know what it is I'll lose
I can't make a decision
not in this state of mind
Or even begin to think about leaving
One behind...

I agree with you on this poem sometimes in the wrong state of mind things are better left alone...lovely flow of emotion and the concept behind this was great...keep writing we all get better with time...very strong piece |
