I know you’re in pain
That you feel depressed
And want your life to end
I know that you cry yourself
To sleep every single day
And haven’t smiled in a while
You keep saying it’s over
Locking yourself in your room
Thinking there’s no hope
I wish I could take it all away
If I could without a doubt
I would trade places with you instead
Make you feel happy
And smile at least one more day
How could this happen?
You’ve done nothing wrong
You’re the sweetest person
And you didn’t deserve this at all
I don’t want you to feel alone
I’m standing by your side
We’ll make it through this
One day at a time
