It’s hard to keep a smile on my face
It’s hard to pretend nothing’s wrong with my life
No one notices and no one asks
No one cares but I’m broken inside
I’ve put on a good show
I’ve been doing it for so long
And became perfect at playing this role
You may see me smile and laugh
But deep inside I’m decaying and falling apart
Pretending has now become my everyday life
What lays beneath is the real me
Only by wearing a mask
I hide what people would see

excellent. it describes some crap i go through. athough not every one has a broken heart lying behind their smile. |
