It's getting harder everyday
To act and play this part
Pretending as if everything's fine
Both knowing all along
It would be a waste of time
We're part of the same story
But not on the same page
I'm tired of playing this role
I'm trying so hard not to fall apart
But my heart can't take it anymore
This is the end of the road
I don't know what went wrong
With something that felt so strong
So much said and done
And we don't get anywhere
