My Valentine

Do you ever see me? Can’t you hear my heart screaming? My eyes must be burning holes in your head. I want to see you as soon as I’m out of bed. Sometimes I think it could work. You and me. Together forever. But then I look in the mirror and see. You and I could never be. Just when I think I can’t fall anymore. But then you smile and I fall to the floor. I think of you day and night. But you dont hear me. Even when I shout. I wait and I wait for the day. When you turn to me and say “ I see when you’re happy I see you when your sad When your heart is screaming It’s in melody with mine I dont ever want to lose you Cause if I did I might just die I love you I love you Won’t you be my valentine?” Can you love me as I am? So different from your past. Or am I sitting here. Getting my heart ready for a cast?
