My Valentine’s Message
We come across many people
Who touch our lives in different ways
But we all know someone special
Who can brighten the darkest of days
They put our feelings before their own
They offer a shoulder to cry on
They’re the people we tend to take for granted
Yet we’d miss the most if they were gone
Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples
We can show our friends that we care
Let them know how much they mean to us
That we’re happy they are just there
I know this person always be there
On them I can always depend
So I’m sending out this Valentine
To a very special friend

Very thoughtful! Sometimes I can get all caught up in the lovey dovey stuff and forget to remember how much my friends should be acknowledged on this day. Like back in grade school before life got so complicated. Thanks for the reminder even though for me 'tis belated. :( |
