Hex
We've been down this road before
Last year's footsteps still fresh,
As they lay on the path before us.
You hide behind a different language,
In saying how you must truly feel.
But do your words mean the same
Once decoded, translated?
Or is this another quirk of yours?
You have so many that I love.
Yet this one leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
My brain is tired of trying to figure
You out as if you're the daily crossword.
Must find the pattern of the words,
To get the answers that I seek.
