I Covet Him

His eyes are as the sea
Above an unblemished sky
Where the birds flee
Leaving only a mysterious cry.

How I love his lips
So friendly, as nothing`s amiss,
Closely concealing at the tips
An Ungiven, but coveted kiss.

Hands that are sturdy and strong,
Wanting him to hold me
As the day grows long,
To understand and give sympathy.

He laughs when I`m feeling dim,
And it slowly squeezes my heart.
There`s no way to stop loving him.
I knew it from the start.
