My eyes are sharply fixed on the asphalt stretched before me

It's only been a moment but already I can taste the glory.

I grasp it tight, this leather bound wheel of death

And shutter deep in my chest with every fuel injected breath.

More deadly the risk of mistakes with every line the needle takes.

Now with sweaty palms and heart beats and the tires began to swell

As gravel tings off my chariots cold steel shell,

I hear the engines song "My 400 horsepower trip to hell".

The smell of rubber and road still hang thick in the air

Black stripes left on a road to be past by without a care.

But I'll remember every second, every minute and more

With the wind in my face and the gas to the floor.
