Day After Day
we teach each other the ways of life.
through each others trials and strife
the pain that we feel.
we wish wasnt real
we see people give up on theirselves
so we hypothetically put their book on the shelves
life is not always what it seems to be
most will never be free
through the tears we cry
we see what is nigh
someone to care for me and you
just believe me i know its true,
i see a hand i can reach
the truth is at me they dont preach
they hold me and let me know
that their love will always flow
to me and forever theyll stay
by me day after day

| i feel this way because i have a best friend and he rescued me! he rescued me from the hurt i was dealing with... he had told me before that what i was in was bad. but after i learned the hard way and couldnt find a way out he took my hand and helped me. he loved me. he taught me. he did not scold me as he could of done and kicked me while i was down rather than that he took me under his wing and showed me how to love again. to this day i will never be the same because i feel as if i was taken and fixed back to the way i was before but better now. |
