You once promised me the earth, the stars, and the sky.
So in return I promised you my love for life.
I suppose I should of know though...
That sometimes promises are hard to keep...
Especially for people such as you or me.
I truly wanted you to be happy,
As I suppose you wanted for me.
But happiness is another thing thats hard to keep,
Mostly through such dear times of need.
But fear not, for I still live my life,
Sometimes I still see your smile,
Sometimes I even see your eyes.
But lately all I see is what you left behind.
