A street poet expresses
What the eyes can't see
About the hidden humor and poverty
Of a needy community
About drugs, gangs
The cops and shit on they street
About they life and they parents
And all of the secrets they keep
About death and money
And how the president sucks
About the poor families
And how they've ran out of luck
A street poet expresses
What they don't want you to know
A street poet puts in all out there
So your knowledge can grow
A poet with a heart
Who don't care about threats
We just write what we see
What we hear and feel
And we help the public
To see what's real
