I'm not pretty, I'm not smart

But, I always seem to hold my head up high

when I'm all alone in the dark.

Girls are nasty, girls are sassy

They always know how to hit you where it hurts

All I feel like doing is falling off this messed up Earth.

All the pretty ones get the guys

Jocks, preps, even those bad boy types

They will take your man even if they don't like.

Just to make it harder and have you feel so small

They can change the style you just now could afford

To make it hard to fit in, there can only be so many of them.

Trying to keep up and honoring those sluts

You want to be who they are and dress to impress

You stop eating, you stop wishing, you just begin to thin.

Eyes are staring when your hair has a beautiful glow

You smile and feel alive because this is once what you desired

You did this, to be like them, the ones who made the status quo.

Taking it too far, your found fading lighter and lighter

You wouldn't have realized you were walking a fine wire

When they helped push you over the edge.

Over the edge to an eating disorder

Just to be like them, skinny and petite

The ones on your t.v. are the ones who helped you sink.

Now laying there on that hospital bed

You thank those bitches

For nothing.. They helped you lose either way in the end.
