I'll be waiting here for you
Underneath these stars of blue
Until the day that you are near
And you w h i s p er in my ear
"I love you dear"
Reflecting s.t.a.r.s dance on the lake
While my imagination starts to take
Over my thoughts and I get swept away
To a dream world where I want to s t a y. . .
Where it's only you and me
Just like it's suppose to be
Lost in the m a g i c that is us
We'll take our time as thus
Snugged perfectly in each others arms
And caught by one another's charms
Playful kisses that we share
Lovingly showing we care
Our l a u g h t e r that echos in the air
Lets the world know that we are there
And smiles that light up the night skies
while we look into each others eyes...
Brought back to reality by a splash
My thoughts are gone in a f l a s h
But I'll still be waiting here for you
Underneath these stars of blue
W a i t i n g for the day that my dreams are real
And the kiss that seals the deal....

i tell ya what..i have been searching for bout 3 hours on here to see a poem that embodied how i felt about someone...and my dear you have written exactly how i feel and how i wanted to tell this man i felt...thank you..its about unrequited long distance love isnt it? u did awesome with this!! |
