Best friends and backstabs
Smiles and fake laughs
New starts and break-ups
Crowded parties and late nights

All lead to depressed teens and suicide
Using drugs and alcohol
To calm the nervers
To feel relaxed

Drunken mistakes
In strangers arms
Unable to say goodnight
When the feelings are strong
Waking up miles from home
Feeling used and all alone

Facing this world is so much work
When your best friend betrays your trust
When you hide behind smiles and laugh it off
When your new relationship fall apart
When being around people just isn't enough

What could be better then drugs and alcohol

Angel2k11 what is better than drugs and alcohol?!...God in my opinion...lol but not everyone in this world will agree with me....but seriously...this poem is exactly how i felt when my ex-best friends betrayed me...i turned to things such as suicide...and sometimes i wished for something like what you are talking about in the poem...i loved this you deserve like SOO many rates for this poem!! awesome job!!
