When I am home alone and I am thinking about you,

I can’t help but wonder,

Why it couldn’t be you.

I’ve seen you around,

Have you seen me too?

I’ve heard people talk,

Talk about me and you,

Saying how we’d do.

But we can’t seem to make it work,

No matter how hard we try.

I guess you’re right,

It just wasn’t the right time.

So it’s safe to say,

We never had a fighting chance.

Would you go back to that day,
