when i had children my heart expanded
experienced love i never imagined existed
everytime they would breath
my soul would inhale
now that my son is gone
my heart and soul suffocates in this darkness
looking deep inside trying to find something substantial
something to believe in and hold onto
searching around just to realize there is nothing
just a empty space where my heart and soul use to be
in this empty the darkness consumes
