When you were the one i needed to save?

Why does every single sad tale

End upon a grave?

I gave you my prayer

But why didn't you listen?

I told you life was beautiful

But why didn't you see it glisten?

We were friends you and I

Why did you sometimes doubt  so?

Was it because miles seperated us

Was it hard to think how far friendship goes?

I now know all i did not

Couldn't you see life was short?

Instead of leaving soo soon

Couldn't you held out longer like a sport?

All i can do now is wonder

Why did you go wasn't our friendship true?

I guess i couldn't convince you enough

Why don't you listen this time, I will forever miss you.

I will love you no matter what, distance did not change that. We were good friends and i did truly care, but sadly you thought that i was just saying that. I was telling the truth though, that life is grand, if only you listened.
