what i become

I dont try to be the way i am

but whats there left of me once u break me down

i become who you want me to be

i become something that im not

its so hard to be me

always trying to fit in

becoming so envious of the people with money

wishing i were them ends up becoming a dream

a dream so realistic its hard to tell fantasy from reality

just closing ur eyes and pretending to be some one else

Just to imagine what it would be like to have everything

but then you realize its time to wake up from this dream

that you can do something with yourself

all you have to do is be you

believe in yourself while you follow your heart 

eventually you will become what you become 

Not what other people want you to become

sabrina225 i love this poem...its very true...when i was little i used to always wonder and dream of what it would be like to be rich...and then as the years went by i noticed i didnt want any of it...not only are most rich people snobby or rude...but they really arent happy...so yea maybe they can afford the better things in life...but really when you dont have all that money to blow and you have to save up and everything it just makes you enjoy life much much more..i love this poem i really do its very true and it means alot...you always need to be you no matter what and to never be ashamed of it...keep it up
