I am me.
You are you.
They are they.
She is she and
He is he.
But who are we?
Do you really know who you are.
Or do you conceal yourself within the lies.
If you do those lies will consume you.
They will change you in no other way.
You may fall down but will you get back up.
You may fall asleep but will you wake up.
You ask yourself these questions everyday.
Am I good enough?
Will she like me?
Will he like me?
I don't know why I care so much.
Will you be the one who helps me up when i fall?
Will you be the one who helps me wake up?
So right now all i can do is be me.
Until you come, then we can not only be me.
We can be us.

*squeee*,,,, awww,, it's so adorable.... and deep too,,, well,, uh,, most poems are deep, nvm,,, duh,,, oke,,, hmmmmm... it's interesting,,,, the way u phrase and categorize everything out,, i liked how the beginning started out,,,,, simple,,, and yet,, there was this touch to it,, idk,,, it just,, like,, flipped out into this little pop-up book thing,,, and went into this,,, wrenching twist of things that just clicked everything into gear.... i especially liked the verses: "You may fall down but will you get back up.
You may fall asleep but will you wake up. "... there's this,, comforting word in there "may" that points out,,, it's ur choice to wake up,,,, and i really understand that part,,,, it's fantasically written.. great job!~~~~Pang ^o^
