Enough

Please, tell me something
when have I cried enough tears that sting?
When is all of this too much?
When I can no longer bear your touch?
Have there been enough searing silences
that only wound of our senses?
When are there enough words not said?
When we so carefully tread
upon eggshells and shattered dreams
how can we not hear it, how loudly the truth screams?
This can be nothing more than over
just say it, we've both had enough.
