Music fills the soul
In your heart and mind it makes you whole
It’s all around
It’s a praise, a joyous sound
But sometimes music makes you realize
Why you have tears in your eyes
Music tends your heart
It surprises you in a way you would’ve never known true
The way your fingers glide across the fingerboard
Or when the drums patter to the beat of your heart
It isn’t magic, it’s music!
It isn’t just scales and arpeggios
It’s a tingle inside of you
Waiting to explode
Music was made for you and me
It’s a gift from God
Can’t you see?
Maybe I’m just a music freak
But I still know
That music fills the soul
