My tears are turning
into time,
pouring from my eyes
into rhymes.
Little droplets on paper
that soon fade away,
thinking of this fills
me with dismay.
As time goes on
I can still feel,
this pain is constant
and I know its real.
No matter what I do
I'm still filled with tears,
emotions unleashed
the worst of my fears.
They say to be strong
but its hard to do,
especially to give
up loving you.
The tears are taking
time away from me,
and this pain will last
for the rest of eternity.
