Another Faded Memory

Thoughts of you attack me at a very rapid rate,

Though emotions of you still present that I can no longer tolerate,

You told me you loved me but it was all a foolish game,

What you did was unforgivable haven't you any shame?

I cherished every moment with you as if it would be the last,

Benfitting from my actions because now you are my past,

Lying awake I wonder what I did to make it go wrong,

Not knowing you never felt the same way all along,

 Personal Business is one thing I could always share with you,

Now I question whether or not what you say to me is true,

 Depression weighs its load upon my suppressed shoulders,

Is it me or do people seem to be getting colder?

How can you say one thing and do the complete opposite?

 I'm sorry but your game is not worth being played I choose to forfeit,

My only mistake is that I let you get the best of me,

Realize my wounded heart will be visible from the debris,

It's just a matter of time until you will only be,
