Alone

Pull my knees up to my chest,

and hold my breath.

Walk right past my door,

And your footsteps fade on the floor.

I breath a sigh of relief,

and crawl to my bed.

I hide under it in fear,

when I hear you come back,

You don'r even care,

about the love you lack.

I feel the old pain in my back,

From being you own punching bag.

You throw the bed up against the wall,

you grab me by my face.

No matter how much I push and pull,

you still pull my arm out of place.

You throw me down and laugh,

you leave the room,

Leaving me emotionally in half,

I climb up to my window and push it open.

I stand on the ledge,

My heart bleeding and broken.

I say my goodbyes:

"Goodbye mother, please know I tried...

I lived with 'father',

and too much I've cried.

Ever since you died in that horrid crash,

I took pain for this fact,

that I had lived while you did not.

And I know it is all my fault.

But even though I deserved the pain, and abuse,

I can not live longer, it is no use.

So I say my final goodbye,

and don't worry he won't cry."

He leaped off the ledge,

of the 3 story home.

Landed on the pointed fench post,

And he left the horrid man alone.
