History gone up in smoke...

One night is all it took...

Early morning sirens ring...

Firefighters see what Mother Nature brings...

In the blaze the past screams...

For students laughter, joy, and everything...

Drawings saying "You're the best!"...

Pieces found among the mess...

Pictures of students from times before...

They to the fire "No more, no more!"...

Tears of onlookers drop to the floor...

Teachers' hearts begin to sore...

Bricks falling...

Memories calling...

Mother nature loses the fight...

A little bit of hope in sight...

Pictures say, "Share me, remember me and I shall last forever!"

Can you hear them?

In the ruins hope can be found...

All you have to do is look around...

Rise from the ashes and look to the future...

History gone up in smoke...

One night is all it took...

 This was written when a piece of our schools history suddenly caught fire early in the morning from lightening stricking it. So many memories burnt to the ground. I was a senior when this happened and that was the first building that freshman go to for their classes. My friends joked in that building carved our names into the doors. Hung out there on the steps in the afternoon. It was just heartbreaking to see it gone just like that. Anyways, if you can think of a name for it please let me know :P
