Maybe I'm not ready for this.
People tell me what I want
and what I need
They say I good to go.
War is a funny thing.
We live in a world that a warrior is black and white.
Loved or hated.
Awake or sedated to a point they no longer feel
when they shoot.
War is a funny thing.
I've been trained in hand-to-hand.
Trained to kill.
Trained to shoot missles.
Trained to shoot machine guns.
But that's basic. Then the war came.
Now they say I've been trained for war.
War is a funny thing.
I'm preparing for the ride.
Learning my do's and do nots.
Learning a new language.
Ready too see a vast desert.
Ready to see a woman explode.
War is not a funny thing.
