The One
The one that I love, hold and kiss
I have always thought was a dream
The one that held me close to his soul
I could tell he truly loved me.
The one that I care for, cried for and kissed
Had come up to me to say...
To say the words I long to hear
I couldn't let him get away.
The one that held me close to his soul
Kissed me gently on the lips
That sweet gentle kiss, so soft like a rose
At that moment my eyes...just closed.
The one that kissed me and said what he did
His heart was so warm inside
I looked in his eyes, through his heart to his soul
At the moment I began to cry.
The one who I cried for, cared for and kissed
That held my heart pure and true
The one that made my heart pound so fast
Came up to me and said "I love you."
