Someone |
One Quiet Walk Alone
One night as I was wondering through the dark woods alone, it was so bright that I thought the sun was going to blind me! I kept walking and thought I I saw a dog walk by. "Here kitty kitty!" I yelled, but the squirrel jumped right into my pocket, so I took it with me.
As I walked further, I noticed I walked to a bridge with really deep water running under it. "How am I ever gonna get across this highway?" I thought. There were so many cars swimming on it. I did the only thing I could think of, I stuck my thumb out to hitchhike. At last, it worked. I was finally on my plain, even when they said that my flight was delayed.
When the boat finally stopped, the driver told me to watch my step. I wasn't listening and I tripped on a wire and fell on the curb in front of me, right when my bus was driving away. I realized I was hungry so I stopped at the nearest restroom to use the bathroom. "Excuse me," I asked the bartender, "do you have an aspirin?" The clerk gave me my ice cream cone and I walked out the door.
As I looked at my watch I noticed what time it was. "Holy crap! I'm gonna be late!" I hoped back on my bike and I ran all the way to school. When I finally got home, I took off my roller blades and tip-toed inside. I went right up to my room and I put my head down on my pillow and went back to sleep!
