Cold metal ripped my skin

Watched my flesh turn red

An old familiar vision

Another attempt of escape

Failed, i'm to weak to leave this hate

Body full of scars

Soulvineers from all my wars

I long for the day to leave allof this

	Yeah. I used to self destruct through alcohol, as if it was some kind of solution to deeper problems. Granted it was a temporary fix, a momentary lapse from reality, but when it wore off, all the real issues still existed, and I didn't find peace until they were dealt with and let go of. :)
