Hello stranger
Where’s the girl you used to be?
You lied to me
You made me believe
Believe in forever
Now I believe in never
Hello, stranger, hello
I know this body but not the person inside
The girl I used to know left so fast I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye
Where is she?
Where did she go?
Will she ever come back?
How will I know?
Will I see her again?
Come back, stay ‘till the end
Keep your promise and come back to me
No one to turn to now
You let me down
Left alone
With only fading memories to look upon
Goodbye, stranger, goodbye
I won’t pretend anymore
I won’t carry out this lie.

I can relate in a bad way to this. I've been that person who could flip on a dime, just add waaaaaaayyyyyy too much alcohol and it would happen every time. Hey that's a rhyme. Is posting in verse a crime? Should I shut my mouth and just mime? If someone could get me to do that it would be so sublime. hahaha I don't know where that came from. (shaking head) |
