Through the mirror

When you look in the mirror don't you ever wonder what others see?
A girl that stands right in front of me.
A girl who cries the nights as she sees the night sky.
All the little marks from her past that once were her only way out.
The scares that are on your heart from the times it once beat,
Or maybe all the 'one to many drinks' you had to pass the day by.
The times your heart beated when you realized the one you loved was gone,
And the people that needed in and all you did was refuse them,
And the closer people got the farther u ran away.
The regrets that turned your life into the person you are now,
And because of that you feel like you must change.
The nights that were spent under the stars,
over the sunsets that once were the highlight of the day,
And the nights you would wait for that one call to come,
And when it didn't how many tears it took to be ok.
How many people that you feel don't care?
We all must look in this mirror and see what is meant to be.
The sad lives and things that we've been through with out ease.
