Conversation of an Angel & a Shade

"Don't cry for me
my Angel"
The shade whispers
as he wipes a tear
"I'm nothing but darkness
evil beyond my years"
"the dark ones"
She softly replies
"are the ones
we weep for the most
We long to pull
them into lights sweet embrace
But often"
She pauses and looks down
tears kiss porcelain cheeks
"We never get the chance"
The shade is shocked
as once deadly light
harmlessly pierces
his once black heart
On shaded lips
a dark smile slowly
parts.
"Little Angel
please no more tears
be my Angel
I'll chase away your fears"
Light reaches for
dark, seamlessly
They combine.
