Forever With(out) Close Friends

What happens when close friends,

Are forced their separate ways?

Do we just go on with our lives,

Normally living out our days?

What happens when there’s no doubt,

We’ll die without each other?

We’re just so close!

Like sisters (or a brother).

Should I try,

To make new friends?

Or should I focus,

On my life around the bend?

Who can guide me?

Take me under their wing.

Who can lead me to good people?

That encourage doing the right thing.

I don’t want to forget my friends,

I won’t let myself drift away.

It would add insult to a broken heart,

That wouldn’t have broken if I was to stay.

What can I do?

I think my life might end.

What will I do?

Without my close friends.
