You once ignited a fire within me.
With every touch the flames danced higher,
Burned brighter,
Enveloping and consumming my soul.
Suddenly the flames were doused -
you left and that which fueled my passion was lost,
Leaving me empty.
You left me hollow, no other spark can ignite
to burn me out and leave me now.
So I thank you for the hole you burned in my soul,
A lasting tribute to our love.
Ashes to Ashes
Dust to Dust
