Fiery red as blood,
       ravaging the sky, at dawn
Like a plague it sends it's hand
       And all I love is gone

How like a nightmare I feel 
       the monster's hellish breath
As panic quickly finds me -- 
       Last thought before my death.

It hits me as I stand 
       at God's or the Devil's Door
Why did I die? It wasn't me
       who started this infernal war.
